Hi, I’m Josey, owner of Graceful Leo!
I’m a Kansas City, MO native with a passion for all things design, whether it's creating beautiful visuals, solving design challenges, or bringing my clients' ideas to life. When I’m not immersed in my work, you can find me listening to true crime podcasts, sipping on coffee, enjoying some country music, spending time with my husband, or spoiling our fur babies!
I graduated in 2018 with a degree in Graphic Technologies and have over a decade of experience in the design industry. After marrying my husband in June 2019, we received military orders to relocate to Tennessee in 2020, and thus began our military journey. Facing some challenges of finding work in my field after the move, I decided to create my own opportunities—and that’s how Graceful Leo was born. What started as a freelance design service has since grown into the handcrafted and design business you see today, helping clients bring their creative visions to life.
I never imagined becoming a small business owner when I was younger, but now it all feels so natural. I've always had a passion for working with my hands and being creative. Owning a business is a new source of joy and pride that I've never felt before and I can't wait to see where this journey continues to take me.
